Fuel prices rise sharply across Lanzarote amid Middle East conflict

A litre of petrol is now €1.49 on average, compared to €1.14 a year ago – a rise of almost 30%. Diesel has increased even more, rising by 38% to €1.60.

The price increases can be tracked almost exactly to the middle-east conflict, and were holding steady or even falling slightly before it started on February 28^th.

Price comparison sites indicate that the cheapest fuel on the island continues to be sold at the Plenergy self-service stations in Arrecife.
